Scuba Review

Although most agencies recommend some type of refresher training after a break of six months to a year, there are no set rules. Remember that confidence is a major factor affecting your safety in the water, so if you think you might need a scuba refresher course, chances are you do. If you're uncertain, an honest assessment of the following questions may help you make the determination.

  • Has it been more than six months since my last dive?
  • Do I make fewer than 12 dives per year?
  • Do I feel confident with my open-water skills and emergency drills?
  • Will I be diving in a new environment or location?
  • Am I diving with new or different equipment?
  • Do I have trouble calculating no-decompression limits for repetitive dives?
  • Do I have trouble calculating minimum surface intervals for repetitive dives?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, you may want to consider enrolling in one of our Scuba Review courses.

The Scuba Tune-up course is designed specifically for people who have not been diving for a while and for those who are not as comfortable with their knowledge and or pool skills. Throughout the class session you will be updated on any areas that you feel weak in. Also, you will be updated in the pool session on the essential skills needed to dive safely in a real environment.

Option One - Regularly Scheduled Course

Cost: $60.00

Take a look at our Schedule find a date that fits with your schedule, give us a call to pay in full for the course and reserve your spot. The course takes about 2 to 4 hours depending on the class size and your comfort level.

Option 2 – Private Course 

Cost: $80.00

Give our staff a call choose a day and time that is convenient for you and we will schedule a one-on-one session with one of our staff members. It will take about 2 to 3 hours depending on your comfort level. This a great option for people with complicated schedules or who desire more personal attention.

  • Use of our rental equipment for the pool session
